The casting director for a parenting instructional video has sent out an immediate casting notice for non-union African American and Hispanic talent, both children and adults. The project is titled Parenting "U", and will be an instructional video that will be used in parenting classes. It will feature 2 Doctors and the "families" they are working with to achieve better parenting skills. The Doctors have already been cast. Families and siblings are encouraged to submit as a unit. The shoot date is not set, but will take place soon in the Hudson Valley area of New York.

The following is being sought for immediate consideration in the Mid-Hudson Valley/Monroe/Warwick/Newburgh areas of New York:

• Black & Hispanic women ages 30-50
• Black & Hispanic girls ages 15-19
• Black & Hispanic girls & boys ages 9-12
• Black & Hispanic boys ages 5-9

The pay rate is $400 per day for each person. People represented by a talent agent may receive an additional 10% for the agents commission.

Intel Corporation is an American multinational semiconductor chip maker corporation headquartered in Santa Clara, California. Intel is the world's largest and highest valued semiconductor chip maker, based on revenue.

Open Casting Call Details

The following types who are located near the Portland, Oregon area are being sought:

• Chinese
• Southeast Asian
• African
• African American
• Hispanic
• East Indian

Must look 25 - 55 years old and be available to work in the Portland, Oregon area for one day late September, 2013.

The casting director has said that he is looking for "1st or 2nd generation" people. However these terms are ambiguous. Generally speaking for example, "Second Generation" is used to refer to the United States-born children of foreign-born parents, and "First Generation" is used to refer to foreign-born people.

The pay is approximately $800 per person.

Casting Call Details

The following specific types are being cast:

• Male and female, Hispanic. Between 55-75 years of age. To play Grandparents.
• Male and female, Hispanic. Between 25-35 years of age. To play Parents.
• Male OR Female, Hispanic. Between 6-10 months of age. To play Baby!

You MUST be located within reasonable driving distance of Portland, Oregon. Also must be available for an all-day shoot on May 7, 2013. The pay rate is approximately $800 per person.

Mall of America and Nickelodeon Universe are casting kids and teens for a new Scream Collector television commercial set to film on February 12 and 13, 2013. Nickelodeon Universe is a seven-acre indoor amusement park located in the center of the Mall of America, in Bloomington, MN. The Scream Collector is an iconic figure that works at Nickelodeon Universe collecting screams from riders. The Scream Collector was developed as an anti-hero, a deadpan scientist who works in a glass laboratory overlooking Nickelodeon Universe from the 4th floor of the Mall of America. He and his intern put the best screams in jars, label them and keep a wide collection of their "favorite screams".

After launching the Nickelodeon Universe Scream Collector TV and radio campaign in 2011, sales numbers exceeded projections. More than 24,000 Scream Chaser passes were sold in the first two months of the busy summer season, and a July Scream Collector branded Facebook promotion helped to grow the fan base by 13 percent in 10 days. The campaign generated more than 300 media hits in the first six months, including sit-down Scream Collector interviews on two local news stations. Teens everywhere were repeating the Scream Collector’s lines and sharing them with friends. The campaign was the national winner of a bronze Effie award based on effectiveness.

The casting directors for the newest Nickelodeon Universe Scream Collector TV Commercial is seeking the following (MUST be available in the St. Paul/Minneapolis area):

• Females, to play 12-13 years of age, any ethnicity. Will be riding the Avatar Airbender and freaking out about a Boy Band.

• Male, to play 15-16 years of age. Must be in great shape, the type who plays sports all year. Will play a Jock in "Contaminated Screams".

• Male, to play 13-15 years of age, nerdy, non-athletic, possible heavyset. Will be riding riding a roller coaster.

Important: You MUST be very comfortable riding a roller coaster. You may be placed on any of the following rides:

The grand opening of New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park, one of 4 Theme Parks in Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, is scheduled to take place on December 6, 2012. The casting director for McGarryBowen advertising agency is seeking a magnificently beautiful little girl between the ages of 6 and 7 years to appear in a commercial for this major new park upgrade. Auditions are taking place in Los Angeles, so parents/managers/agents should only submit talent that can be in the area on very short notice.

The casting director is looking at "European Hispanic" types, such as many people look in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. The role is for a girl who could portray a little Disney Princess at the Magic Kingdom Park, and who has an enchanting and fascinating presence. She should be extremely friendly and charismatic, with a strong ability to express with no effort how deeply and passionately she loves having fun at Disney Theme Parks. This girl should be lively and spirited in a playful way, with good energy. Being able to relate to and bond with others, treasure the happiness and enchantment with family.


Requirements:

• Must look between 6 - 7 years of age.
• Must have a "European Hispanic" look.
• Must be very beautiful, preferably a "Disney Princess" look.
• Television and/or film acting experience is a huge plus.
• Must be able to show terrific facial expressions.
• Must be available in the Los Angeles area on short notice.
• Should submit a photo wearing nice clean play attire.
• If selected for audition, should wear same type of wardrobe.

Those chosen to audition will be required to come in with the following prepared:

• A short story of less than 1 minute telling about an awesome exciting experience

OR

• A short story of less than 1 minute telling talking about a fascination they have about a character from a movie or novel.

• Also should be prepared to show some acting skills, and will be climbing through a magical mirror.

About New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park

Walt Disney World has announced the grand opening date of New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando, Florida. The new attraction will open at Magic Kingdom on December 6, 2012 and is the largest expansion in the park’s history. The opening will be just in time for the holidays, which is one of the busiest times of the year for Disney theme parks. Previews of the new attractions will start on November 19, 2012. New attractions include Enchanted Tales with Belle, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid, Gaston’s Tavern, and Be Our Guest Restaurant. The Be Our Guest restaurant will have three beautiful dining rooms and can accommodate 500 diners. The food will be French-style with plates like Croque Monsieur and pommes frites for lunch and charcuterie plate or mussels in wine for dinner. Lunch will be quick service, while dinner will be table service. The Magic Kingdom expansion will continue through 2014 with more exciting attractions. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, a musical rollercoaster, and Princess Fairytale Hall, a place where the Disney princesses will greet guests, are two highlights. The park has already opened the Storybook Circus section of New Fantasyland. The area is inspired by the movie "Dumbo" and includes a Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride and a roller coaster named the Barnstormer.
